Our work is reliant on funding. Without this support, we wouldn’t be able to deliver our groundbreaking work in prisons across England and Wales. We are a small, newly-formed charity with big ambitions - there has never been a more important time to contribute to our mission. If you are an individual and would like to make a donation, you can do so online by visiting our fundraising platform Givey. If you would like to discuss a fundraising activity or event, make a regular donation or are an organisation who is interested in supporting us - drop us a line at info@foodbehindbars.co.uk.
We appreciate a donation of any size, big or small. Thank you for your support.
It’s easy to see prison as something that is far removed from everyday life. But the way prison operates has an effect on every single person in society. Each individual in prison will eventually be re-released into our neighbourhoods, and we believe they should be in the best possible position to succeed if we want society to benefit as a whole.
If you share our vision, there are plenty of ways you can get involved with the future of Food Behind Bars.

From time to time, we work with volunteers to help deliver our projects. If you are passionate about prison reform and excited by food, cooking and eating, get in touch or keep an eye out on our Instagram page for future opportunities. If you want to volunteer and have a specific skill you’d like to offer - whether that’s marketing, fundraising or cooking - we are always interested to hear from you, so don’t hesitate to drop us a line.
We work with both men’s and women’s prisons up and down the country on a variety of food-based projects. Our approach is tailored to the unique needs, facilities and requirements of each prison and its population. If you are interested in exploring what we could do for your establishment, we’d love to hear from you. Likewise, if you are an organisation, business or individual with an opportunity you think would be up our street, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Finally, our work is reliant on funding - without this support we wouldn’t be able to impact the lives of prisoners through food. We are at the early stages of our growth - there has never been a more important time to fundraise for our future. We can’t achieve this without the support of individuals and organisations like you.
